Jeqe Ntuli is the leader of Udumo Traditional Dance and Marimba Band. Udumu was established in 2002 in Emdeni, Soweto under the governing body of the People’s Cultural Organisation (PCO).
The main intention was to preserve African cultural heritage through practicing traditional music and dance from the various South African Tribes including; Zulu, Sotho, Xhosa, Shangaan, Pedi and Venda.
Udumu has been very successful and has had the privilege to perform at notable events, locally and internationally.
Throughout the years Udumu has been very involved with the youth of Soweto and has taught them the way of traditional African culture with great success.
Jeqe is very pleased to join the Drumstruck tour to Japan for the third year.
